Although I was originally asked to do this because of my relationship to Byron, this also became a personal challenge as I was unsure whether I would do justice to the Byron name and complete the swim, so to have achieved swimming the Hellespont has made feel enormously proud plus I have also raised over £2,000 for the “Help the Heroes”charity.
